Cirencester Town Council’s Advent weekend begins with a market and the Christmas lights switch-on in the Market Place on Saturday 28 November. On Sunday 29 November a ‘supersized’ Advent Market of more than 100 stalls spreads across the Market Place, Castle Street and Cricklade Street, with street entertainers and music.
Good to know
Roads close from 5.30pm on Friday 27 November until midnight on Sunday. The council warns it gets very crowded and asks visitors not to bring dogs, other than assistance dogs. Sunday hours are listed differently on two council pages, so allow for a 10am–4pm core.
