English Heritage holds its Christmas markets in the service wing of Audley End House, with the indoor market in the historic kitchens. More than 40 stallholders sell locally made and crafted products, and choirs and local musicians perform. Visits to Father Christmas can be booked.
Good to know
The market is included with general admission (English Heritage members free; booking ahead saves 15%). Friday 11 December is a Community Day with free entry for residents within 12 miles, with proof of address.
