Portsmouth’s Christmas market runs along Commercial Road in the city centre from the Christmas lights switch-on until Christmas Eve, open 10am–6pm.
What’s there
Expect festive food and drink, including German sausages and glühwein, along with Christmas stockings and tree decorations. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays it grows with fresh produce, gift ideas, clothing and seasonal products.

The market opens on the night of the city centre lights switch-on, Friday 20 November. A Small Business Saturday taster market is also on Commercial Road on Saturday 5 December, 10am–4pm.
