Swansea Christmas Market

Swansea’s Christmas market runs in the city centre, with stalls of festive food, drink and gifts, an Alpine bar, and an entertainment programme. In 2025 it ran along Oxford Street, with an additional marquee of artisan food, drink and craft stalls on selected weekends.

Why there are no dates here yet

Applications for traders at the 2026 market are open, but the dates have not yet been announced. We will list them as soon as the organisers confirm.

Other Christmas events in Swansea

Swansea runs a separate Winter Wonderland, with a big wheel and ice rink, on Museum Green near the waterfront; it has been reported as returning on 19 November 2026, with a small Christmas market of its own. That is a different event from the city-centre market.

Getting there

Swansea station is about ten minutes’ walk from the city centre, with direct trains from Cardiff and London Paddington.

Make a day of it

The Maritime Quarter and the marina are a short walk south, the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery is free, and Mumbles — a Victorian seaside village with a pier — is a few miles along the curve of Swansea Bay. The Gower peninsula, Britain’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, starts just beyond.
