Bristol’s market runs down Broadmead in the middle of the shopping district, and it opens earlier than almost any other UK market — early November through to just before Christmas. It is smaller than the big city markets at around 40 craft and gift stalls, but the food and drink end is disproportionately good: Yorkshire pudding wraps, hog roast, bratwurst and churros, with live music in the bar several nights a week.
