The Winter Village is the most European of the American markets, and the rink at its centre is free to use if you bring your own skates — a rarity in Manhattan. The kiosks skew towards New York designers and food vendors rather than imported ornaments. It opens earlier and runs far later than the European markets, well into the new year.
