Hull Christmas Market

Hull’s Christmas centres on Queen Victoria Square, beneath the domed Maritime Museum and the City Hall, with market stalls along King Edward Street, a stage for live music and panto, and a city-centre Christmas weekend near the start of the season.

Why there are no dates here yet

Hull has not yet published its 2026 Christmas programme. The dates you may find online — 20 November to 2 January — are from the 2025–26 season. We will list the 2026 dates when Hull City Council or Visit Hull announce them.

What to expect

Based on recent years: a market of seasonal food, drink and gifts along King Edward Street, covered seating, street entertainment, and live music and panto performances on the main stage in Queen Victoria Square. Hull Minster also hosts its own Victorian Christmas market.

Getting there

Hull Paragon station is about five to ten minutes’ walk from Queen Victoria Square, with direct trains from London King’s Cross, Leeds and Manchester.

Make a day of it

The Deep, one of the UK’s most spectacular aquariums, sits at the meeting of the Hull and the Humber. The Old Town’s cobbled streets, Hull Minster — England’s largest parish church — and the free museums of the Museums Quarter are all close to the centre.
